53W53
As a private museum tower housing a significant portion of MoMA's contemporary art collection, 53W53 needed a website that matched the architectural and curatorial gravity of the building itself. Their existing platform underserved both the art and the audience — failing to communicate exhibition programming, residency events, and the building's cultural significance to an international audience.
We designed and built a content-led WordPress platform that puts the work front and centre. A flexible exhibition CMS, full-screen image galleries, and a spare typographic system were used to let the art breathe — while structured event and ticketing architecture made the site a functional tool for visitors and collectors alike.
Custom WordPress site for 53W53, a New York museum housing part of MoMA's contemporary collection. Exhibition-first design built to match the gallery's curatorial standard.
